@CGiordano464 Yeah, I heard about that inspection, but the museum failed to give an update about it on their website. I guess they haven't gotten around to it yet.

@railfan101 one of the UP ones. we will be lucky to see it even in pieces again tho as that inspection it had this year will cost alot of money. i hope they will have it running again

For anyone who does not know and is interested the OERM's VC #2 is expected to be back in operational service some time early this year, and our UP E8 is currently in its final stages of its internal and external repairs, UP 942 is expected to be fully operational by April 2012, in time for the Union Pacific Employee Apprecation picnic on April 28th.
