  • That is SICK! How do you stop the line twists from happening? Looks like a full eliptical high performance canopy.. maybe a 107? I wonder if this can be done with a 150 silouhette?

  • @kd6mtw Practice up high until you get the feeling for the heli. The canopy is a XFX 111. Every canopy flies differently so I don't know about the silouhette.

  • I get dizzy just from watching... LOL. How much altitude do you loose doing this? Don't think I'll try this anytime soon though :-)

  • Surprisingly not a lot. Less than a toggle or a rear turn.

  • Heli is short for Helicopter. it is where one side of the canopy is flying forward and the other is flying backward. I start it by pulling on both rears until close to the stall point. I then let one up and give more input to the other. I finally smooth it out by giving a little front riser to the side flying forward.

  • Stupid question but...What's a heli? Are you spinning by pulling one of the risers ?

  • yes

  • nooooo

  • is this for real
