Trying out a different animation process.
This is the first blocking stage where all the important key-frames have been made and positioned in the timeline.
I used stepped tangents to block out key poses. Using organized key-frames, it's easy to change the timing/spacing (I can never figure out which is which) of the action.
The result is quite satisfying, showing major body movements, contact positions and weight shifts. Next to add the breakdowns of each movement to increase my control over the scene before I hit the splines. If more refinement is needed - I will do so before entering the spline stage.
