Give Love A Chance {A JoBros LS} Chapter 2

[Ashley's P.O.V.]
(One Month Later...)
I really missed the guys. They were my besties so I couldn't help but miss them. But what did that kiss mean? I think it's obvious that I have a crush on Nick but does he like me back? He's always so casual, I can't tell. My thoughts were interrupted by two obnoxious beeps.
"WHO IS THAT?" I shouted. I peered out my window, and saw the familiar black tour bus that read: THE JONAS BROTHERS. I pulled on my fave red hoodie and ran down the stairs. I knew my mom would yell at me when I got back, but I didn't care. As soon as I spotted Nick, I hugged him tightly.
"Niiick!" I said happily
"Ash!" he said just happily
"You're back early!" I replied
"I know!" he said
"I missed you so much!" I replied
"I missed you too!" he said trying to loosen my grip; but I just hugged him tighter. When I realized things had gotten awkward, I pulled away.
"Sorry..."I said blushing slightly
"You don't have to let go." he said with an unfamiliar sly smile. I blushed harder. Someone practically attacked me for a hug, so I knew it was Joe.
"Hey Ash!" he said
"Hi....Joe." I choked out.
"How ya been?" he asked
"Well I'd be better if you weren't crushing me." I replied, laughing. Joe could be so...charming sometimes. He let me go and looked between Nick and me.
"Sorry for breaking up the love fest." Joe said winking at Nick. Nick threw his duffel at Joe.
"It slipped." Nick shrugged
"I'll grant your death wish later." Joe said glaring at Nick. Joe picked up his bag and Nick's as he left.
"Nick, can I tell you something?" I asked nervously
"Yeah, shoot." he said
"I love you!" I blurted
"Um, well I kinda have a girlfriend now." he replied
"Oh, um who's the lucky lady?" I asked fighting the lump in my throat.
"Miley." he replied
"Oh, again?" I asked trying to sound supportive of my life-long crush and his girlfriend.
"Yeah, hopefully second time's the charm." He said smiling warmly.
"I'm glad," I tried to mimic his warm smile but I felt so empty, and cold. IIt's hard to be full of sunshine when you were just rejected.
"Well, if you need anything; you know where I live." I said. He grabbed my arm and tingles went up and down my spine.
"Can you help me? We've got a date tonight," he asked nervously
"Yeah, sure." I said subconsciously grabbing his hand. He didn't let go. We walked in his house and up to his room. I told him what to wear, how to wear it, and what to say. I was thinking about a lot of nothing when Nick's voice interrupted me:
"Can you tie this for me? I'm so nervous; I can't think straight."
"Sure." I said getting up from where I was sitting on his bed. I quickly helped him tie it. I was standing there. His eyes had a mischievous glint to them. I was distracted by his lips crushed against mine.
"Nick...what are...you doing?" I panted.
"Kissing you," he breathed, his lips still on mine
"What about Miley?" I asked before he resumed kissing me
"What about her? She cheated... on me, I can cheat... back. Besides, who says.... I can't have... both ...of you?" He breathed. I abruptly pulled away and slapped him right across the face.
"Nicholas Jonas! I don't know who you've turned into but bring back my best friend!" I shouted. I ran out his room and out of their house. Tears began to streak down my face, and I bumped into a brown-haired girl.
"Oh sorry excuse me!" I exclaimed
"Yeah, you're right excuse you!" she replied. It was after she spoke that I realized it was Miley.
"Whatever." I muttered walking away. I proceeded to my house. I ran upstairs to my room and cried for hours...
