Where do you live that you think you don't have "socialism" in your life?
As far as I know, everyone in every neighborhood in America has Police, Fire, Ambulance, Libraries, Public Schools and Other Services.
So get a clue. Socialism is already in the US.
And as someone who at the World Trade Center on 9/11, I'm glad that there were police, firemen and medical (ambulances) who responded--something that only happened because there is some Socialism in our government structure.
