@undertakerRach Firstly I have to point out that not all the people killed were civilians, around 1/3 of the victims were Chinese soldiers. Secondly, you didn't give me any convincing reference to support the statistics you showed . Many historical records? lol The only "evidence" you showed me was just one sentence irrelevant to the number of the victims. Don't try to deceive yourself, history cannot be changed by what you said.

After the Japanese occupation, did the population of Nanking decrease by more than 300,000? Let’s look at many historical records. On Dec 8,1937， Tang Sheng-zhi, who was Chinese commander, warned that all the noncombatants should assemble in the Safety Zone, and the citizens rushed into the Safety Zone for the safety.

@undertakerRach: Where does your statistics come from, could you show me the reference of your statistics? How can I tell your statistics is right? It's rather superficial to claim that the massacre is a rumor without any reference.

Those people who say no massacre in Nanking are actually shameles people without any conscience. In Japan the standpoint to view Nanking Massacre became a political criteria to classify your political identity whether you are rightists , liberals or leftists.

Most Japanese including serious historians and intellectuals keep silent about .Nanking incidents because of frequent rightists' threats.
