he actullay secretly appears in the anime just look up Death note - Beyond Birthday references in anime. it's so true he does and it's scary 'cause the first time you watch the anme you think "oh well BB isn't in this." but he is!!!!

The actual people who created Beyond Birthday was indeed Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. (Read book #2 in chapter 7 page 200 panel 6, I quote L, "' Naomi Misora' Joined FBI in September 2001 and attained rank of special agent with unusual speed for a Woman. Arrested perpetrator of the 'Los Angeles BB serial murder case' on August 22, 2002" So they already mentioned it in Death Note.) ((Yeah, I'm THAT into Death Note...))
