i'm not obsessed with the past, or calling out bad hip hop, or praising real hip hop for that matter. i like what sounds good to me, and yes, generally i like MCs that are talented, and have something important to say, is there something wrong with that? rappers like soulja boy aren't killing hip hop, every music has its good and its bad, and unfortunately in hip hop almost everyone sees the bad. don't categorize me when you know nothing about me, you're the fucking asshole.
