  • the one single timpani hit on 5:49

  • The female contrabassist is buff.

  • A Classical music critic writing for late 1960's/early 1970's TURNABOUT/VOX lp w/this Bartok selection put it as "BEWITCHING NOCTURNAL IMPRESSIONISM".

  • "A+" CHECK!!!

  • @Theodoric1

Stacked open 5th's'll do that to ya.. you should try playing the intro chorale voicings on the piano. definitely creates a mood...

  • This is simply the most beautiful thing ever written. It knows no time, era, genre, space, or dimension. If there was just one single thing that would make me believe in God, it is this.

  • this intro chorale might be the best slow music ever written

    and invented..

Good thai it is here played really slowly- mostly it is played too fast

  • dont get me wrong, very nicely played, just that the facial expressions and movements are a bit over the top!

  • I love this piece, it is one of my favorite ever, but the paino player makes me laugh!

  • It's like being lost in the woods in the dead of night.
