Great tutorial. But how exactly is rendering to a lossless file, and then compressing it with this program better than rendering directly to a compressed type of file?

Great tutorial. Now I wish that I had a Mac. I use Linux Zorin 5. I can make the desktop look like a Mac but it doesn't have that compression tool.
