One of the bargains from Barford Rally 2009 which is organised and run by the Norfolk Amateur Radio Club.
I'm over the moon with this reciever and have already hads lot of enjoyment tuning and finding interesting things. I connect it directly to my MFJ-948
Its not the easiest to tune at first but once learnt it makes it easy to loose an afternoon tinkering.

  • Never knew till now that the "Frog-7" ever had an onboard readout! Very nice! And with 3 skyhooks to choose from, you should rx about anything on the air!

  • A beautiful machine. You were lucky to find one with a digital readout. That must make tuning a dawdle compared to the normal FRG 7 method. They're a grand machine indeed.Good luck with it,and also with the twins!!
