A shortened Cortez the Killer from this years (2006) Xmas Jam. This was the seque tune of the Dave set into the Gov't Mule set. A great way to go from the delightful acoustic to set to the rocking Xmas jam ender with the Mule. Great night. Hope this gives you a taste of how great the show was.

  • I feel what you sayin but think about this.

At the after-party where Warren and the rest of The Mule were partying and had the video recording of the showing playing back on a big HD screen. No one in the band cared to watch UNTIL Dave came out, the warren, andy, matt and danny all sit in front of the sreen and watched Dave's every move. The Mule Loves Dave !!

  • Anyone who actually thinks that Rolling Stone's opinion on such things actually matters is a total tard. RS is a total pile of shit these days, it's all about poppy bullshit and advertising. I'd rather slam my nuts in a sock drawer than have to read RS. The only time RS would ever even be in my bathroom with me while I was taking a shit would be if I was using it to wipe my musically superior ass with it.

  • Just take a look at the list JGO126 and you will see that you're a complete moron. Name something absolutely even remotely good that he has done.

  • you all fight over music, i swear every video that is music related, i see idiots like some of you arguing over "shit"...music is unique and is experienced differently for everyone, it is a matter of opinion that we all have say in, if you want to take someone else's opinion, example using RollingStones list....you are just a conformist, make your own damn list and stop hating on each others list, i assure you all you asses out there arguing and fighting on the internet just look stupid. my $.02

  • Anytime you get two giants like Warren Haynes and Dave Matthews together doing a song by Neil Young, Something magical is bound to happen. Watching this video will put me in the right mood to go see John Hammond June 6th, 09. Another great Bluesman at the Earlville Opera House between the Catskills and the Adirondacks. Legends live on forever.

  • one of the best shows i've ever been to...

  • I was there, front row center on the rail. Awesome jam this year...and every other for that matter. It was really cool to hear the young and old chiming in on this Young tune ......thanks for the posting!

  • Warren Haynes is incredible, and sadly under-appreciated. I'm always shocked by how few of the people I meet know about Mule, or even the fact that Warren plays with the Allman Brothers.

  • damn warren did a good job with this neil young classic

  • yeah joni mitchell is supposedly in the top 100

  • He is a beautiful man.
