This is the latest movie of my Central-America tank, after a big clean up, and re-decoration.
Since the last time, the kind of fish-species changed for a big part.
This time, there is much more peace in the tank, after the common quarrels in the beginning.
My proud are a breeding couple og Herichthys bocourti, the male is 42 cm now!
Another couple is the Paratheraps(Vieja) synspilum, the male from Belize, the female is the spotted version from the Laguna Bacalar from Mexico.
The next couples are Hypsophrys nicaraguensis, who should be calles Neetroplus unimaculatus these days(for how long?), a couple of Herotilapia multispinosa, and a young couple of Paratheraps(Vieja) bifasciatum, and the last youngster of a nest of Thorichthys ellioti(male), and 3 Hypostomus plecostomus to help to keep the tank clean. Enjoy!
Thank you, although i have it in use a a South-america tank right now, with only small fish...

Thanks, but this tank was far to small for them all,and it was just temporally.
The H.bocourti male was the dominant animal in the tank, until the V.synspila decided the sporn, and defended their eggs and young.
So i replaced all of the other fish, so the V.synspila had the tank for their own...

That Bocourti tank looks great.
Which is the most dominant, the Synspilum or thje bocourti?

@droberts1109 The bocouti was in that time, just because of their size...
The species is not very dominant, like the pearsei's...
