Medvedev warns Georgia and Ukraine against joining NATO

Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has warned that Georgia and Ukraine's accession to NATO could lead to more tensions. He said that if Ukraine did sign up to the alliance it would break existing agreements it has with Russia. The comments were made at an informal summit of CIS countries in St. Petersburg.

1) Russian troops still remaining in Georgia (Abkhazia & South Ossetia)

2) Russia must pay for 1992-93 War against Georgia (300,000 georgians were forced to leave abkhazia and became refugees)

3) Russia must respect the fact that Abkhazia and South Ossetia is parts of Georgia
