I have seen some of these systems for under $1000 on ebay but as the description says if you handy can make your own for under $200.

I would love to know how much money you spent on this system and what the payback is. I cannot imagine this is cost effective. Being green doesn't mean throwing tons of resources at something to call yourself "green". Batteries are one of the most harmful things to our environment out there.
