TheBusinessDesk.com: Birmingham's business district was effected by a second day of traffic disruption as police close roads near to where a man was threatening to jump off a bridge at Paradise Circus
@nanefy I know you said it a year ago, but cordoning off a city because of 1 person is ridiculous, and his life is simply not worth the amount of money, time and effort that went into all this. Im sorry but hes just not.
@VampireLestat87 I do agree it is a cry for help but i dont agree that is the way to do it..it took me 45 minz from Colmore row to jewellry quarter on the bus and there next to eachother. also another hour to get home..for a journey that should have taken 8 minz.RIDICULOUS!
@PryncezEyes People just have no compassion - people are more interested in making sure they can get to their work on time, or get to where they want to go as fast as they can, and screw whatever human tries to get in their way. People need to give themselves a shake when a humans life means so little to them that they'd rather someone died so that they can go on about their own selfish day.
All I am hearing everyone say is push him and done. What if that was your granddad, dad, uncle, brother, cousin or nephew, no way in HELL would be saying just push him off you would want everything possible done to keep him alive.
What makes it worse is a cleaner for Lloyd House said its a 14 year old polish boy not a man! If this is true, it is even worse. He has not even lived his life but something so bad has happened that he wants to end it so young.
There are some sick people commenting on this video! We're living in a time where we're no longer concerned for other people. How the F**K can you want a man to be pushed or jump from a bridge? Wake the F**K up ... what if it was someone you knew?
Try being in a suicidal state of mind. Add drink and drugs to the situation. This is most likely what happened in this case.
You cannot blame this guy. It's his mental state of mind.
I actually cannot believe the overall attitude of the people of Birmingham to this incident. All people seem to care about is being late for work or being inconvenienced. This man must be seriously troubled. I had to walk the long way around paradise circus, from there i could see him climbing onto the bridge, he was clearly distressed. It isn't attention seeking, it's a cry for help. I hope he gets it, poor man.
