Rough out and final cut of a Powered Paraglider propeller. The Shop built "rougher" speeds the cutting process and reduces wear on the CNC router.

  • Cool music. Artist?

  • @706jim1 I'm not sure who it is. It was on a truck stop compilation.

  • What CAM do you use for gcode generation?

  • @konstantinNeo BobCAD/CAM

  • Nice job. What are the woods you are laminating?

  • How ya' going?

The props that I make are poplar, soft maple, black walnut and black cherry. This combination makes a very stylish, medium weight prop that is also very durable.

    Cheers!

  • @Graiskye

Vice grip was cool, also the extension of the cnc table with a wooden block.

  • Awesome. I love it. What really made it though was the Vise Grip 'Clamp' A true MacGyver. Thanks a lot for sharing, shows a little of what goes in to the props people just bolt on without a second thought. I fly Rubber Power models, so I carve my own, a might bit smaller but essentially the same. Cheers.
