Thai Airways Airbus A300 - (Bumpy) Approach and Landing in Phuket RWY27

This is the incoming flight from Bangkok (BKK) to Phuket International airport (HKT) on the 2nd of April, 2010. We had an extremely bumpy flight out of BKK and are on short finals for RWY27. See the wonderful islands and landscape from above before landing on one of the most beauftiful islands of our world.

The Airbus A300 from Thai seems to be landed by their pilots in an other way like e.g. Lufthansa pilots did: the nose of the aircraft is much higher in the air at the moment of touchdown and so landing is quite impressive with Thai....

The Airbus A300 from Thai are quite old now, but although the cabin is not very modern the service is superior , even on this one hour flight. Flying with Thai is always smooth as silk - a classic Royal orchid service!
