hey..I love the sound outta this guitar. I literally just ordered this exact model:: sst, cherry sunburst. I'm hoping to get this same tone and feel that comes thru on this video can u please drop me an email and tell me what you're playin thru (amp..effects, etc), type of strings (brand, gauge), eq settings..?

I know I'm asking alot of detail but I'd appreciate any response (I'd say feedback but no "feedback" on this guitar right?)

Answering your questions...I´m playing the SST thru a Trace Acoustic 100 connected direct by line to the mixboard and with a Microphone Shure KSM32 at a distance of 40 centimeters from the 5 inch speakers for the low end, using a compressor Analog Man. The caliber is the standard 0.10's to 046 Gibson Chet Atkins Strings.

If you connect this guitar direct to the mixboard you will get a great sound too!

sounds great! i actually just ordered a sst (i wasn't able to find it in any music store so i had to just buy one that i found on ebay..big risk, i know). if i can get it to sound like yours in this video i'll be thrilled! i wonder if you might shoot me an email and let me know: what u r playing thru (amp, direct box, effects, etc), what kind of strings, eq mix..? i know i'm asking for a lot of detail (u might not even get this post) but i would appreciate any response - nypauly1@yahoo.com
