Οι χαμένες επαναστάσεις υπήρξαν η αφορμή και ο θεματικός άξονας του συγκεκριμένου τραγουδιού.. Ο τίτλος του παραπέμπει τόσο στην επανάσταση του 17 όσο και στον γαλλικό Μάη : Η 'μεγάλη νύχτα' και η "έφοδος στα χειμερινά ανάκτορα", οι νίκες που σχεδόν αμέσως μεταφράστηκαν σε ήττες και η Σισύφεια ανθρώπινη πορεία - ένα ταγκό που χορεύεται τελικά από έναν...η τελευταία στροφή του τραγουδιού δίνει και το βαθύτερο νόημά του. Μοιάζει σαν να είμαστε μοιραία εγκλωβισμένοι να αναζητάμε το αδύνατο.....


Lost revolutions constitute the inspiration and the theme of this song. Its title refers to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the May 1968 protests in France. The "big night" and the "assault on the winter palace", the victories which soon after were converted into defeats - a tango for one...the inner meaning of the song appears in the last stanza. It seems that we are inevitably trapped to seek the impossible...
