吃薯仔可減肥。美國華盛頓州馬鈴薯委員會主席沃伊特(圖),連續兩個月每天只吃 20 個馬鈴薯,令體重由 89.5 公斤( 197 磅)減至 80 公斤( 176 磅),連膽固醇和血糖水平也降低。
45 歲的沃伊特由 10 月起只吃馬鈴薯,包括薯蓉、炸薯塊、烤薯等,餐餐如是。吃薯仔減肥令醫生感到驚訝,但醫生指薯仔欠維他命 C 、 A 、 K 和奧米加 3 等重要營養,不宜只吃薯仔減肥。
