@mekore if it's rolling around nicer it probably doesn't, but as long as you use VERY LITTLE it only helps.

I had cut the little install/removal tabs off the pads because I was using Magura's Venti-Disc rotors with the aluminum carrier. The tabs hit the carrier if you don't cut them off.. go to ectrr.com and look in the brake section for "magura Venti-disc and BB7" as they wont let me link it here..

Thanks for recording the BB7 brake maintainance.

I've been trying to decide between hydraulic and mechanical disk brakes.

Magura Louise or Avid BB7. The BB7 looks like a good construction and

being able to service it easy is a big plus.
