Re: Let The Right One In; sometimes a film is more enjoyable when it hints towards plot devices rather than smacking you over the head with an explanation, and this is one that's not too hard to figure out. Firstly, Eli repeatedly said he wasn't a girl. Then elaborated to say he wasn't anything, hinting at a loss of identity. Secondly, whilst Eli is a unisex name, its slightly more common amongst males in Sweden and Finland. Thirdly, scarred genitals!

@ska2808 That's my favorite movie too. All things considered it was a good adaptation, but it left out some key details to say the least.

For some reason, I can't listen to this without thinking of the Swedish movie Let The Right One In ... must be the vampire connotations. Someone should really make one of those fanvids with this music going along with clips from that movie.

@InsanityCrescendo The girl isn't a girl at all.He was born as a boy,but some fucked up sect had castrated him and sewn him up before turning him into a vampire.I adore that movie!
