Mig welding is easy. This is a great welder to start with. 230V, 20A input Duty cycle: 105 amps AC @ 20%
Can be converted from flux wire to gas operated welding
4 output settings, variable wire speed, cold wire trigger
Automatic thermal shutdown
Duty Cycle means in a span of ten minutes what percentage of time can you actually be welding before the unit over heats.

Hi Mat, There are so many variable's depending on the make and model of the welder you have. Go on line and down load the manual of your welder and it should tell you what current you draw at it's max heat. I would also suggest you get advice from where you bought it. In my search, the store I got it from had a resident expert to help.

  • wat amps i use to welder

    Go to princessauto dot c o m

It's a Canadian company. I don't know if they ship or if you are close enough for a shopping trip. I know they have this model in 115 v.

  • This looks cool. I only have 115v. Do you have one you could recommend? I can't find this welder make in New York state.
