when WTCC was still interesting to watch

The WTCC is probably the best touring car series out there atm, alongside the V8 Supercars in Oz and the Italian Superstars series. This is proper touring car racing, not quite as great as the legendary BTCC of the 90s, but still a damn sight better than the current farce that is BTCC. You can tell the WTCC is a great series simply because all the best drivers gravitate towards it, and the grids are always packed - a good sign of a series' popularity :)

I was there! Outside of Paddock Hill Race 1, inside of Druids race 2...
Shame it wasn't the other way round!
