Virus Snow Synthesizer - I got it

I got my access virus snow 2 days ago and thought I make a short introduction.

Please excuse the bad sound quality. My webcam don't work under windows vista anymore, so I had to use the video recorder of my samsung camera and can only record the audio with its small build-in micro.

But anyway it's just to show that great box which is working without problems with my 19 years old casio ct-470 keyboard via MIDI.

I am still not through all sounds of the virus snow. So I just showed some of the great sounds I encountered so far. For whom it may of interest the used preset are AllRoundXM, BoppinSV(arp), HyperSqrMS, InSpaceSV(arg), OvertureCK in that order.

Update:
I must say that this first preview does not really show the capacity of this synth. At that point it was still very new to me. Therefore please listen to my tracks I produced with it to get a better idea whats possible!

Hi is it possible to create your own patches using this and to save them on the computer? Is there a software for computer to emulate this in my virtual daw? (cubase 5)

Also I'm wondering does this allow for synthesis, like loading a sine/ square/ sawtooth and editing it from scratch to make my own samples?

Yes, you have all posibilities. The software come right with the virus or can be downloaded in newest version from the access virus homepage as well (for free of course). It allows do create sounds from scratch or to modify existing ones.

how many presets does the virus snow have ?

There are 1024 (512 Ram und 512 Rom) presets, which can be selected without a pc. But there are several thousands (free and comerical) preset available out there, which can be simultaneously used with a pc or which can be loaded at the virus snow for later use without pc.

Is the keyboard any good, or only for midi and using with that thing? I have the same keyboard.

love the pairing man... virus snow, and a casio ct tonebank as midi controller.. that my friend, is a style i understand.. spent all ya $ on a good synth, and a dimebag, so you pick up a ct at the thrift shop...kool style man...

whats the difference between the normal virus TI and snow edition?

are there any sound differences? of just the structure of the synth?

im going to buy soon and i wonder what could fit better...

@NoLie6 Since you replied a few minutes ago, I would like to ask you another question if its possible.

Since you mentioned the software plugins. Are these the same from the TC powercore plugin set? Because one of the things I want is to get that famed Access Virus Vst ( it has a red circlish... interface with some wonderful patches along the way)

Because I'm at the stage wondering whether to buy such a device (tc powercore) or the Access. If I can do similar with both,just wondering, thanks

The snow just can play 4 preset in parallel. The greater brothers can have 16.
