  • Hi, nondescriptnyc.

I was watching this match at the arena, and remember this scene clearly. I think Imagawa's performance was not related to Inoue's accident. Inoue was in bad condition because she caught a cold and had a fever.

After Inoue finished, she was lying down on the ice and crying over a minute. Speaking my mind at that time, I felt she would retire.

But 11 years later, she became the Champion of US pair skating, participated Torino Olympics Games. Her strength should be admired.

  • 初めてこの映像を見ました。

    井上怜奈ちゃん、あまりにも可哀想で見ているのが忍びないです(´Д⊂ヽ

  • This clip ALWAYS upsets me so much... Poor Rena... Does anyone know what REALLY happened here? I have the entire coverage of this competition, and she was already crying when her name was called. Was it really just about the flu, or was there another reason?

For example, Tomoko Imagawa, who skated right before her, also skated to Romeo & Juliet and the audience loved her, that could have upset her...
