Mega Man X6 - Metal Shark Player Perfect Run

Well this one threw me for a loop. The sheer fact that so many people expected it to go badly made me underestimate it. Practice runs went swimmingly well, but the actual recording..went very badly. It took me quite a while to deal with this guy (although not the entire 3-weeks I've been inactive). Also for some reason I sound tremendously bored during the 3rd segment, but that's probably because I really hate that section.

Still, he's dead now.

Metal Shark Player, or Prayer, whatever, It's still a bad name. I can think of a name 10,000 times better. Umm... Scrap Hammerhead.

In my opinion, based on your rating, I think the stage deserves an 8 or 9 out of 10 and Metal Shark Player a 1 or 2 out of 10 (because there are no outtakes on Metal Shark Player himself).

Trivia: When playing as X on extreme mode (hardest mode), Metal Shark Player can summon Explose Horneck (Blast Hornet) from MMX3 in addition to Magne Hyakulegger (Magna Centipede) from MMX2.

@ace5566 Yep. When playing as Zero he summons Sting Chameleon instead of Magna Centipede. Thankfully Stingy just uses the close range tongue attack. :P

Oh man this has great level design guys, Capcom REALLLLLLLLLLLY worked "hard" on this god tier level, you can just tell.

@ZioIsPwnzor Actually, compared to a lot of levels in X6, this is one of the best. All the difficulty is real, not faked. It never hits "Nintendo Hard" levels. It never feels cheap and succeeds in being tremendously difficult. For that, I really like the level.
