Not Asatru related at all. Just an old man trying to get back into shape. Although I've dropped quite a bit of wieght, I haven't been too happy with the fact that the tummy is the last to go. Even if my arms, legs, and neck are all solid muscle now. So, I decided to buy a bag to work out with to get some cardio thing going. Plus, many-moons ago I used to actually be a fighter, believe it or not. Although I was originally trained in Shotokan Karate-Do & Okinawan Kobudo, in recent years I've got attached to western martial arts and have been working on German Longsword, western wrestling/grappling traditions, dagger/knife fighting. I think this bag will also spare my poor friends from "Hey, I've got another pair of gloves, you want to mess around some? Oh, No..nothing heavy, dude...really."

  • i know what you mean brother , im trying to get back in shape too , and teach my kids martial arts at the same time, woah you never know how outta shape you really are till your kids show you up !i studied taekwando, ninpo ,ju jitsu, judo and ,akkido, mostly!and i studied constantly til i was about 15 then off and on till i was23 now im 26 and havnt even spared in 3 years i do train military friends but its just to clean them up , kids are way harder ,

  • Great Job! I am in the slow process of getting myself back into some sort of shape I really really let myself go! I have lost 100+ pounds and I got 100 more to go. We the might of the Gods backing us we have not chance to fail!

  • Maybe cut out wheat/gluten. That would mean beer as well, sorry to say.

  • Cardio will lose the rest of your weight. Interval training

  • Great video brother. It is never too late to get back into fighting form .

  • Fat around the stomach is usually that last to go...much to the chagrin of many of us...

  • Keep up the good work, I do kenpo myself and it is important to keep up with the basics.

  • Good work out. I just got my bag rehung in the new house, so I have started working out with it this week. It doesn't take long to get winded from that.
