ok serious question .. my 500 bobber has been acting weird it was fine when i bought it but 2 days ago it started shifting really hard or stiff and when it goes in gear you can hear a noticeable clunk kinda loud clunk and sometimes sitting at a light it wont go into first gear why is it doing this

hello, you may have a weak spring on your shifter pawl it is either located behind your sprocket cover or your clutch cover if it is the latter when you remove the clutch cover look behind the basket and also look at your pawl closley it could be bent if you have new oil and dont want to waste put the bike over safley so oil will stay away hope this helps look at your actuating cam as well move the shifter back and forth and see how it reacts thanks

This wasn't recorded for entertainment purposes. We are selling the motor and created the video to show customers that it does run. We also show the exhaust to show it doesn't smoke and that it is a good running motor.
