Thank you for answering so quickly. Looks like I will be cutting out a bunch of tiny little bows since I am too cheap to spend $5.00 on a bow package I will probably only use once :( Unless you know of a kit that contains a red bow with with polkadots. I don't mind paying for a kit but I just can't bring myself to purchase the one package of bows I found online when I won't use it again. Thanks again for helping me out with my questions.

@pinktoque After MANY hours of going through folders I FINALLY figured it out.... lol... I got 2 hours of sleep last night.. I'm the type of person that need's thing's figured out before I can get my mind off of it.. I am glad I figured it out.. After I actually found the zipped file I just followed your video and got it figured out. It was very easy, but finding the file that was zipped and not just the download was causing my problems. Thanks so much for your time! =)

@pinktoque I downloaded the files from MMS directly... But they aren't going into my Suite, and when I go into my documents and click on them, they aren't opening, if I right click on it and click "open" it will just redownload the file again...
Like in your video it shows you like extracting the files and putting them into different folders and it shows you exactly what is in each thing you downloaded, i'm not getting this option.. I thought maybe it was because I was using Windows 7??

@trishalynn0708 Can you be more specific? Where did you download the free content from? If it's from MMS directly, double click the stuff you download to install it - you'll find it installed when you run the software. If you've just downloaded some free backgrounds and embellishments elsewhere, you need to click the "browse other" button at the bottom of the pop up box to browse to where you have saved the additional files you downloaded when adding a background or embellishment.
Thank you for your awesome tutorials. When I download content from Two Peas in a Bucket, I get a message when I open them in MMS Emblishments as follows: "name of download.jpg May be a corrupted image file java.lang.NullPointerException" I just click and click to get through all the images, then it shows up on my blank page to use. What's with this? For future, have you ever put a video "hot spot" on a page? I see this can be done, but, oh my, might need more instruction. Thanks..

@joanvanleeuwen For some reason I can't link to my blog, but search my blog for a post called My Memories Suite Error Resolved. Good luck :)

I downloaded a jpg file from Bing Image Search Minnie Mouse Bow. It downloads as a jpg.
It is an image of a red bow. But when I pull it in as an embellishment it has a white box around it and it not just the bow. Is there a way to fix this. I noticed when you used your scanned picture it was just the picture and not white around it.
Put it was a great video explaining things :)

@homeschoolingmy3sons The only way for an image to have a transparent background is for the image to be in a .PNG format, not .JPG. The reason my scanned image didn't have a white background is because I was able to crop it out perfectly since the ticket stub, for example, is a rectangular shape.

I am using Windows 7 and when I right click on my additional content that I have downloaded for free, I click on open it just keeps downloading the file again.. But i'm not seeing the stuff in My Memories Suite.. Is this because I have a newer computer? Or can you give me directions to a step by step where someone can show me step by step using my window version.. I tried googling and i'm not coming up with anything to help me, it's getting very frustrating...

@trishalynn0708 I don't use Win 7 on the computer that I have MMS on, so I am not sure. Normally the things you download from MMS are .exe executable files & you install them like you would software & then they are in the program. If you are having technical difficulties, you really should contact their customer service. They will be able to help; I am just a fan of the software. If you're on Facebook, look for the My Memories Suite page - you can also ask there, too. But call customer service.
