2) IDF does not settle anyone anywhere, it is just an army, not a gvt.

3) You are right this territory was conquered by Canaanites, Jews, Romans, Muslims, British, Jordanians and then Jews again in 1967 in a war forced on Israel by 5 arab countries.

4) None of the above legitimates the assassination of a man praying on his own in the forest.
