Murphy, May 7 1976- June 28 2005. medal of honor recipant , true hero and stayed for the good of our nation and his group, america and her allies are very proud and respect the fact that LT. Michael P. Murphy risk his life by going on top of a building to show coordinates of where to evac for the good of his platoon. Rest in Peace LT. Michael P. Murphy, we will always respect you and be proud :C

LT Michael P. Murphy (5-7-76 to 6-28-05) awarded Congressional Medal of Honor 10-22-07. Lt Murphy wore an FDNY company patch on his right sleeve for Engine 53/Ladder 43 in remembrence of 9-11 and a childhood buddy who was an FDNY firefighter. He could have gone to several law schools but chose military service instead. RIP
