@joekoe97 He actually said: "Oh I'm glad it's not the fussy Jewish ladies who bought the apartment (in his building). I don't think they were happy hearing I might be singing at all hours." He was just kind of describing them & meant nothing offensive. He apologized. The anti-defamation league supported him and said no one should be offended. The Yanks said he would never be invited back. He has since moved on to Boston because he became hated by too many in NYC. Press blew it out of proportion.

@OpeningSalvoe He made some off the mark Jewish joke and people raised a fuss about it. The Anit-Defamation Leagueeven said it wasn't a big deal what he said and basically said that they were sure he didn't mean anything by it. It's rare for them to say something like that when they address something.
