Yeah, what a stupid example! Of course it will play but only if there's any sid from $1000 ( = 4096) in memory :).

you must load a sidfile at $1000 with $1000 as init address and $1003 as play address.
plain sid files from hvsc wont work unless you strip the first 126 bytes and add the load address by hand.
