I love You Can Do Anything so much, too bad it's incredibly short - Not long after listening to this first time, I realised it was a remix of Green Hills Zone & Mecha Green Hill Zone was a remix of You Can Do Anything (sorta).

I was mostly inspired by n00neimp0rtant's amazing extention of You Can Do Anything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqHySC4k8sw - I tried to combine the 3 simular themes (plus more) into a masive song - I used the following:

Green Hills Zone - Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (MS/GG)
You Can Do Anything - Sonic The Hedgehog CD (JP/EU Versions)
Mecha Green Hill Zone - Sonic Chaos/Sonic & Tails
Title theme - Sonic The Hedgehog CD (JP/EU Versions)
Sonic 2 (Master System) Green Hills 16 bit* (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJD8hpb5CI0&feature=related)

*Note: I am not entirely sure who the artist is for this 16-bit remix of Green Hills Zone, so if anyone know, PLEASE let me know in the comments! Thanks!

@exra82 To be fair, Sonic has been making a massive comeback since Colours & (to some extent) Sonic 4: Episode 1, & thankfully, Generations was a brilliant anniversary game that made up for 2006. But hey, to each their own! ^^

Definitely one of the best remixes I've heard. It's a lot of fun to listen to...so much fun. And I so wish more people listened to this!

I think what makes it fun is that even though the lyrics have calm moments, and though it's the game version playing, you know how to keep it smooth while not overpowering that moment. Such as giving the game version moments to play by itself so by that point, you were really riding the sound to a fun world. ...erm..if that makes sense...

I'm sorry that you don't have more comments. I've seen videos of this quality before, videos that deserve millions of views, yet have gone practically unnoticed, and I could just cry in frustration. What you have here is worthy of its own five-minute segment on any T.V. channel that endorses gaming. It combines one of Sonic's best soundtracks (good enough for multiple remixes), Sonic's fastest-paced scenes, and of course, old-school nostalgia. This is the very definition of art; a masterpiece.
