I used to let my pet rats lick lemons and salt and vinegar chips just because they were trying so hard to get them, and they learned their lesson.

Anyone who goes out and buys a pet (whether it's a dog or a cockroach) most likely developed an attachment towards it, and wouldn't harm it or even think about killing it.

You're probably one of those people who has a dog that never touches the ground 'cause you're afraid it's too hot. Fucking grow up

what they say about cats and curiousity when applied to a ferrets is quite funny. However, is that not how all liife must learn. I did not find that cruel since I have had four ferrets, they will try ANYTHING!

It is NOT animal cruelty. It's letting the animal to lean about spicy stuff under a controlled environment. Better let him learn about it now rather than later when he accidentally encountered it without his owners around.
