Nice one!
Have you tried building a kickport into your cajon? It works great for getting the big subby sound, check out my channel for an example

Oh no! I really think I'm the first one.

That's cool. I hope you get to check out "Mike Masuda's Cajon Setup" at some point. He uses a slightly different setup (and peripherals) but his kick idea is closer to a standard kick pedal's mechanics, so he says he can do those Bonham "triplet fills" a lot easier than the heel method you employ. He uses a double kick pedal and mods it for cajon use.

WTF?! iS THAT THING

That;s pretty cool. Have you checked out the Woodskin cajons?

Good point. You're lucky I love that movie haha.

To rip off a line from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory "Candy doesn't have to have a point, that's why it's candy" (replace the word candy with music)
lol IF you can, why not?

how much?

What's the point? Why not just use a normal drum kit?
My regular drum kit is too loud or too big for some shows. I usually play it with brushes, multi-rod plastic sticks or by hand. I use it on a singer-acoustic guitar/ percussion gig, also with a piano and percussion gig and a get the feel of playing a drum kit.

Hi,
Yes I used a regular snare which I cut and glued to the top of the plywood. Also the sides are plexiglass sheets so you can hit it hard with a standard b.d. pedal. I have already tested this cajon live with a big audio set up and a it sounds good.
Thanks or the comment.
