Ha, yeah, birds aren't for everyone, I will say that. She lasted about a year before I finally had to give the eviction notice. I couldn't stand the LOUD screeching anymore. Funny, even tho I didn't "love" the bird, she would climb down from her cage, walk all the way down the hall, and then climb up on my lap while I was sitting at my computer. Hard to give her the boot, but the negatives were bigger than the positives!
