Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp Alumni Ross "White Devil" Dallow gives TMT students a free BJJ/MMA seminar on Nov 17th.
Ross Dallow is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Carlos "Portugues" Vieira and a professional MMA fighter. The Australian Dallow has also won several Submission Wrestling (Nogi) titles such as the South East Asia Nogi Open in 2009 and is one of the coaches at the Cia Paulista in Australia.
Nickname: The name "White Devil" came from Dallow's Thai Boxing background. In 2009 he met Ray Elbe (Tiger Muay Thai and MMA) at a competition in Thailand. The two became friends and Ross started training at the Tiger Muay Thai gym with Ray. In time Ross began to understand that locals had a term for westerners which was "Kwai", meaning "Buffalo". Dallow found this to be amusing and began to play with the name addressing himself as "Kwai" and often used his hands to make buffalo horns on his head.
After a fight at Martial Combat in Singapore, Dallow defeated his opponent by choke and celebrated with the "Buffalo Horns" gesture, the media misunderstood it to be devils horns and so the name "White Devil" started sticking to Ross.
