why is it that some other unboxing vids of this dslr here in youtube feature a d90 black box, while this exact vid has golden brown box?

Because this one is much cooler :o) I really don't know, perhaps it's different region packaging.

well, maybe.. nice dslr there dude. i may be a canon fan, but i have lots of respect for nikons. i began photography with nikon anyway, and as i go and explore my own ways, i shifted to canon. my choice.

Because He bought JUST the body, the black box contains the kit.
