fatal 18 wheeler accident on I-10

It was raining so hard you couldn't see pass the windshield. I must have seen 15 cars in the ditch and 3 bad wrecks within 60 miles . One wreck had the 18 wheeler rear axle completely parted from the trailer.... crazy stuff

always check to see the sliderail pins are locked in place. Wabash makes trailers now that have a button you mash to slide tandems,and when you supply trailer air it pops out and locks in place,preventing the big oops that this dummy had.

To everyone that does not know what happened here...... The truck driver forgot to lock his tandems on the trailer, and when he hit the brakes they slid out from the trailer.. The tandems can slide underneath the trailer to distribute the weight of the load.
