The Crappie, seemingly a calm collective creature of freshwater lakes, goes about his own business until he spots lunch. The Crappie now a vicious beast who's attack is both stealth and explosive unleashes his magnificent fury and an un expecting kick-n-Craw. The Kick-n-Craw now rendered food by Pomoxi-negromaculatus or "Sharp Cheak" is dangled ever so precariously by Johny fisherman, who's day is about to be made grander. The Crappie never looses focus on the delectable delight and the Kick-n-Craw becomes lunch. Kick-n-Craws can be purchased at fishingminnesota.com. Kick-n-Craw lures provided by Catch-n-tackle catchn.com, crappies cutesy of Cabela's Owatona Minnesota. A cool video I found one day on Yahoo from fishingminnesota.com

  • crappies are so easy to catch with the little squid bait. the best time is about mid april to end of may for shallows in minnesota. on our lake we catch like 30 at least 11 inch crappies off the dock. they like places with alot of debris like logs and rocks. find those places in the lake and cast out.
