Everyday Is Election Day

In his State of the Union address, President Obama urged Congress to stop playing partisan politics and come together to create lasting reform because to the American people "every day is Election Day" in Washington.

We saw, and heard from, tonight the President we were hoping for and the ONE we saw at the campaign trail. Pray that the President doesn't stop now. This is another great opportunity for renewal. The hope, the inspiration, the fire, the fighting spirit, the determination are back. Thank God! There seems as well a new desire to listen to all, and to get back to the basic and to the base.

True but if we spend our time playing the blame game we'd get nowhere. Democratics are in power and they have taken on the duty to fix the screw ups. People just need to have patience. It took 8 years for it to get this way so how can we expect it to take a year to turn around?

$8000 a year is $8000 year, either insurance or the government. Plus the extra taxs Obama is want to use to pay back China with.

@jensen1901 You are not very bright Obama is not for giving you an option to buy Insurance. If you do not buy it he will fine you. If you want insurance for every one . then just give every one insurance. he has spent the money to do that. With his plan there are still 12M with out insurance

But you are correct that private hospitals do get stuck with bills. That is why the rates go up for all of us when the poor can't pay. So why are you against what Obama is trying to do (give everyone the option to buy insurance). That will LOWER costs for everyone.
