This video knitting tutorial will help you learn how to knit the make one right increase (M1R). This technique is used to add stitches to your knitting and can be used any time a pattern calls for a Make One (M1) Increase. This particular increase creates a left leaning stitch. It is also referred to as a strand or stranded increase.

  • Thanks for the vid! i've been trying to find a more "invisible" increase :D

  • @ladymistreschristine Glad you like it! there's actually an even more invisible increase called the raised, or lifted increase. It's also called to knit the left or right loop increase. We'll have a video up soon with it.
