Hey, I still make videos!

And will continue to do so.

Here, I am just going to show off the Neo Geo Pocket Color system and it's games, then talk a bit about its history.

This was delayed for quite a long time, for quite a few reasons, but here it is.

As always, I want to say thank you for watching this, and any of my videos, but especially this one. It's long, and I put a lot in to it.

  • Man this is one of the best documentaries I've seen on the Neo Geo Pocket Color. I've recently picked one up myself (like 3 days ago) and I just can't stop playing it. The fighting games are just so awesome.

  • @tendresseak27 Thank you.

Honestly I think I enjoyed making this video more than any other I have made so far. I love the Neo Geo Pocket color. It's a nifty little system with some really unique features.

    Also, match of the millenium.

    For hours and hours.

  • iam thinking about getting an neo geo pocket color, mostly for the megaman game but do you know any good platformers you could recommend? except sonic?

  • @MakeAGameWithMe

The system is pretty weak for platformers.

Pretty much everything worth getting was listed in this video, except for Faselei, and there isn't much beyond that as the system had a very short life.

  • I wish SNK came back into console making or SEGA or both.

  • @PolarBearGr

The thing about Sega is that it is really obvious why they failed. They made repeated poor decisions and couldn't seem to get their hardware releases straight ever since the sega cd came out.

  • Indeed a technological marvel of its time. It needs a homebrew scene along the other legendary consoles, especially after seeing Halo get ported to the Atari 2600.

  • That was great! The Ted Bundy pic was too funny.

  • Also all the games plus the system were 93$ at local store about 5.00$-10.00$ each i have to say between this handheld and the gameboy/gameboy color its pretty close to becoming my favorite easily, except for the exception that SADLY all 3 dont have backlit screens and nor does the NEO GEO POCKET(And Color) have a cleaning kit the games are VERY fragile and need cleaning at timesT.T

  • I bought one the "Carbon Black" edition for 34$ and 4 US games(Metal Slug 1st Mission,Neo Dragons Wild,Pac Man,Dive Alert Matt's Version) and 1 Japanese game(Snk Vs Capcom:Match Of The Millennium) All near perfect except some cleaning, also ALITTLE trick i found about most of the the games,go the boot menu change your language to japanese and you can play most the game in the native format simply due to the fact the their EXACTLY the same as the japanese version just with american ESRB sticker:3

  • @FrankieDFrancis Yeah man, match of the millenium and Kof R.2 are some of the games I play the most on the system. It's kind of sad that I missed out on this system when it came out. Today, the system feels like a brand new experience and it keeps amazing me, I wonder what it would have felt back then when portable games didn't have graphics like today. But you said it best, the stick actually feels like a portable arcade stick. Just perfect for fighting games.

  • muy bueno!! :)
