I don't know why they didn't just include realistic sounds WHEN THE MADE THE FUCKING GAME. Why are developers always dropping the ball?

@Drpepper687 Late reply I know, but I saw some making of Arma 2. They actually recorded the actual guns. The default gun sounds are realistic.

Yea when your at a distance it sounds like the exact same sound just a little quieter, the sonic snaps are epic but if it sounded like BFBC2s sound that would kick ass big time.

kids complaining about that cracking sound are 12 years old casual consolero hardcore CoD victims that have no clue about what is happening outside behind their door. OFP/ArmA is more a war simulator than a game and they just cant get jiggy with that.

i hate that "cracking" sound from far enemy weapons in original arma2, sounds like a tiny firecracker, it really sucks!!

that is how it sound in real life, is not the sound of the enemy weapon shooting, is the supersonic sound (breaking the sound barrier) of the bullet crossing close to your head
