Effects of Carbofuran(1%) on Cockroach

This is an experiment done by me to show the toxicity of potent poison(Carbofuran) on cockroach. Only 1% is enough to kill this cockroach. Carbofuran is a most toxic carbamate pesticide. It is a neurotoxic poison. It acts by inactivating the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It is used for making pesticide(Furadan), but it can kill almost any living being on the earth. Many countries ban use of carbofuran as being highly poisonous.

@Decimati0nX This is just an experiment to show the potency of carbofuran . There are many less toxic chemicals available that can be used to kill cockroaches. Using this chemical is very dangerous for your dog as well.

@Decimati0nX No, you don't want to kill cockroaches with carbofuran, it's too strong a poison for home application. Besides it is an endocrine disruptor in extremely small doses and causes impotence in men.
