Joe Alessi performs "Daybreak" by Nicola Ferro at the Fred Mills memorial service. Mills was a trumpet player in the Canadian Brass for almost 25 years. He was on the faculty of The University of Georgia when he died. This performance was given on September 20, 2009 at Hodgson Hall in Athens, Georgia. Joe Alessi is currently the principal trombone of the New York Philharmonic. Damon Denton plays piano.
