Some good information there. What do you think of using baoding balls and chin na weights to improve dexterity and strength, for complimenting iron training?

i meant specifically the ones you were talking about in the fingers. just to clarify :)

It is unfortunate that I do not live in the UK. The name, Zhen Gu Shui, though should lead me to a reputable dealer here in the States or in the least on the internet. Your advice in this is invaluable. As an eight surface steel basher I have worried about arthritis, your video has done allot to allay this concern. Even my traditional sifu was reluctant to give me this information. He just said I should wait till he found something more 'internal.' Yet you had Iron Palm to draw from. Thank you!

Thank you for that. I have operated under a theory offered by Gen George S. Patton. He required his soldiers to shower in cold water so they would be used to dodging bullets, and that after a hot shower one should do a cold rinse to close the pores so as to reduce the chance of infection. I have noticed within Patton's ideals a knowledge of Sun Zsu's 'Art of War.' As I am an aficianado of both the 'Art of War' and the book 'Patton's Principles' I took the advice from the latter book literal.

In theory, keeping the poors open and having dilated vessels in the hand might increase the likely hood of getting an infection in your hand. However, the chances of your getting an infection/contagion through your hands without any open wounds (which you shouldn't apply Jow to anyway), is incredibly slim, almost unheard of infact. Plus, by using the hot and cold water, you are effectively cleaning your hands anyway, and so killing/washing off any bacteria anyway.

Aha, I've been looking for this kinf of information for ageeeees. Ive been lightly hitting walls util I can buy a wallbag. Thanks for the advice and information in this video. Very useful. And is in line with the way I wanted to do my iron palm training. But you provided the western (medical) and eastern reasonings, which im very glad of. You seem to really know your stuff, I might get in contact to you about dit da jows, if you have any useful knowledge about them?

Feel free to contact me with any questions you have. Unfortunately though, I know very little about differances in brands/ ingredients in Jow.

Several things. I like your notations on hydrotherapy, but I am concerned that ending with hot will leave the pores open and more susceptible to contagions getting past the first layer defense, (the skin). Thank you for showing your hand stretches I saw a couple that I have not been doing. Finally, what type of dit da jow, (liniment) do you recommend?

I use Zheng Gu Shui for Jow, which is an all purpose jow for injuries from a chinese medical company called Yulin. You should be able to buy it from any local chinese herbal remeby stores.
